The original commodities exchange in the United States, built in 1895, one of the first steel-framed buildings in America. Unoccupied for 5 years, water intrusion damaged the facade, which consists of Carlisle redstone, Pompeian buff brick and terra cotta.

Thomas Jefferson University - Curtis Building

O & N conducted extensive field observations and analyzed existing facade components, noting severe water intrusion and decay in the brick and terra cotta facades. O&N developed design repairs and provided construction managementfor the project.

John Wanamaker Building

A 12 story, 150,000 SF above grade structure,
built circa 1911, the Wanamaker building is listed
with the Philadelphia Register of Historic Places.
A steel frame construction with concrete floor slabs, the facade consists of marble, granite and painted cast iron with an ornamental terra cotta cornice that decorates the top of the 3rd story elevation. |
